Overview of Department of Pharmacology:
Pharmacology is one of the core subjects of biomedical sciences contributing remarkably to other fields of biomedical sciences. The Department of Pharmacology at Ashokrao Mane College of Pharmacy, PethVadgaon, Kolhapur was established in the year 2023. The department offers training in pharmacology and toxicology to both undergraduate and post graduate students and also department incorporates cutting-edge laboratories designed for advanced research and experimental studies, complemented by a dedicated animal house facility for in-vivo research activities. The research areas include neuropharmacology, Pharmacokinetics and cardiovascular Pharmacology, among others. Our faculty are actively engaged in innovative research, along with publishing research paper in esteemed national and international journals. Faculties feel proud on their role in imparting subject knowledge and high-quality research training besides inculcating human values to the students.

The department has centralized animal house approved by CPCSEA (Registration no: 118/PO/ReBi/S/1999/CPCSEA) for conducting experiments on Mice, Rats, Guinea Pigs, and Rabbits
